Snakes are reptiles , so snakes don't have legs, they move or crawl with the help of their muscles.

A snake has a long backbone which is very flexible. During movement, a snake contracts its muscles, thrusting its body from side to side creating a series of curves. Each curve pushes against the ground to give a forward thrust to the body.

#hope this helps.
