How do u add 1/20+1/60

It's quite simple.....The thing you just have to do is......

1} First take the LCM of 20,60

So the LCM is 60

2} Now Look at the first term i.e, 1/20

We would divide the LCM by the Denominator (20) and we get 3...

3} Now, Multiply the Numerator by 3 and we get 3 as our new Numerator...

4} Similarly, Do the Step 2 and step 3 for next term (1/60) and you would get 1 as resulting new Numerator...

5} Now , Add these New Numerator like this (3+1/60) ......

6} Now you will get 4/60 which is equal to 1/15......( At last you could reduce the answer if possible)

7} So,, Your required answer would be 1/15 Ans......
