squaring both sides we get
x^2=2+
 \sqrt{2 +  \sqrt{2} }
....
 {x}^{2}  = 2 + x
 {x}^{2}   - x - 2 = 0
 {x}^{2}   - 2x - + x  - 2 = 0
x(x - 2) + 1(x - 2)
x+1=0 or x-2=0
x=-1 or x=2
