How do u feel that role of ancient guru has changed in present society?

The role of guru which also means teacher remains an important factor in every era. But the ancient guru teaching was quite different from today's teacher. The knowledge or information was not only the purpose of the ancient guru but the moulding of the personality of student and improvement in the moral values was the primary objective. They also teach the way to live life in the society. But the things are quite different from those days, mostly, the teachers just teach the student bout scientific knowledge or subject but don't tell them about the moral education and how to be a good personality individual for the society.
I would like to adopt the quality of listening to others and teaching the value education to the students, that was the main quality of a teacher and this helps to make a teacher perfect and grow the children in an appropriate way.And helps the society for better development.
