How do u separate a mixture of iron fillings , sulphur powder and salt​

Iron and sulphur can be separated by physical means. Iron is magnetic and sulphur isn't. So run a magnet over and through the mixture, the iron will be attracted to it and be separated out.

Elidah, iron is magnetic while elemental sulfur is not. So using a magnet will separate the iron filings from the powdered sulfur. However some of the powdered sulfur particles will stick to the iron filings, so it may be necessary to rinse the iron filings with something like acetone to rinse off the sulfur. However you should first cover the magnet with a thin paper bag to ease the removal of the iron filings from the magnet, while keeping open flames from the flammable acetone.
