The Killed or weakend disease causing micro organisms which are put into our bodies are called as vaccines.
when they enter our body, they produce antibodies in our body.
when the disease causing micro organism enter into our body, the already present antibodies fight and eliminate them.
Thus the disease is prevented by vaccines.

"Prevention is better than cure." Vaccines are :- 1.Activated vaccines 2.Inactivated vaccines Both types of vaccines have antigenic mass. When vaccines, when administrated at right time, through right routes;-- As vaccines contain Antigens, so after administration in the body, these produce huge amount of Antibodies in the body. When microbes say bacteria, virus etc entered in body, these Antibodies will fight against these causative agent responsible for the diseases and will destroy these causative agents of diseases. In this way, vaccines will boost the immunity of the body and disease can't effect the body. So by vaccinating in advance in time, will prevent our body against various diseases. So "Prevention is better than cure." Hope this Answer will help you in different ways. Hoping for disease free world.
