Arteries, capillaries, and veins are blood vessels which are responsible for transporting blood throughout the body.

ARTERIES

These blood vessels have thick walls and carry blood from the heart to different body parts.

They do not have valves.

All the arteries carry oxygenated blood except the pulmonary artery.

VEINS

These blood vessels have thin walls and carry blood from different body parts to the heart.

They have valves and prevent backflow of blood.

All the veins carry deoxygenated blood except the pulmonary vein

CAPPILARIES

These blood vessels are narrow and have very thin walls, they connect arteries and veins.

They do not have valves.

As it connects arteries and veins, therefore, it contains both oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.

Answer:

Blood vessels flow blood throughout the body. Arteries transport blood away from the heart. Veins return blood back toward the heart. Capillaries surround body cells and tissues to deliver and absorb oxygen, nutrients, and other substances.
