How do water holding frogs live and survive in the desert?

The Water-Holding Frog lives in thedesert. This is a very unusual habitat for an amphibian. It spends most of its time underground and they only come up to the surface after a heavy rain. They breed in temporary pools ofwater that are left after a heavy rain.
