How do we calculate electronic configuration of an element from its mass number and atomic number for element with atomic number less than 20

Answer:

mass number=number of protons+number of neutrons

number of protons=atomic number

and if the element has atomic number 15 so its electronic configuration will be (2,8,5)

which means it have 15 protons and 14 electrons(electrons are always one less than protons as they have to loose ion to gain negativity
