for upper halves when the team no. is even their is simply divide by 2 the total no. of tems but when the team no. in odd then follow the formula that is n+1/2 ..

for ex the total team was 11 then what is upper half team no. then simply apply this formula that is

n+1/2 =11+1/2=6

here the n is total no. of team

1. When the team number is even, such as 2,4,6,8, etc. Then, the total number can simply be divided by 2.

• n=total no. of teams (where n=2,4,6,8)
• Number of teams in the upper half = n/2

    2. When the team number is odd, such as 3,5,7,9, etc. Then, the formula                 that is applied is:

• n=total no. of teams (where, n=3,5,7,9)
• Number of teams in the upper half = n+1/2
