How do we calculate positive and negative zero error?

Answer:

Positive Zero Error is when the zero of screw gauge scale is below the refrence line of main scale division. This condition shows positive error and negative correction. Negative Zero Error is when the zero of screw gauge scale is above the refrence line of main scale division.
