how do we classify objects based on transparency ? give examples

we classify objects based on transparency as follows:

opaque: book, box etc... don't let any light pass through them
translucent:frosted glass,wax paper etc... allow little light to pass through them
transparent: plastic cover, glass etc... allow light to pass through them easily

We can look through a plain glass but we cannot look through a wall or wooden door a glass is a said to be transparent but the wall is opaque a transparent substance allow light to pass through it another type of substance which allow light to pass through them are partially called translucent we will able to see object through a substance but not clearly
