the decomposers are specific in their action.they decomposes the natural waste materials into simpler substance.the decomposers cannot decompose man made materials like plastic ,DDT etc.so it's on the basic of the decomposers that we separate them as biodegradable(the waste which can be decomposed) and non biodegradable.(the waste which cannot be decomposed).
