How do we connect voltmeter and ammeter in an electric circuit what is likely to happen if the position of these instrument are interchanged

REASON :

      because ideal resistance of ammeter is 0 ohm which so it won't affect the current flowing ideally ( still it consumes ? have some resistance in real world which is neglibile)

and ideal resistance of voltmeter is Infinity so if connect in series they won't allow electric current to flow further
