How do we convert from decimal to fraction?
For example,
5.289
I have this sum in my maths text book and its making me go NUTS!
Please reply fast I have my math exam next week and I need to prepare

this number have decimal after 3 digits then multiply and divide the number by 1000 bcz by multiplying 5.289 by 1000 the decimal moves 3 places to the right and this becomes a complete number. we cannot multiply it by any number so we are multiplying and dividing by 1000 at the same time so it becomes 1 and we can multiply or divide by 1.
