we count the value of the final goods and services and not of the intermediate as:
its foolish enough to calculate the the whole of it........
For example:
for a production of biscuit
1. the primary sector produces wheat.... Rs30/kg
2.then the secondary sector with manufacture biscuit from it by it's own inputs as well..... Rs60/ packet
3. the tertiary sector then transports these finished goods to the perspective shops...... Rs80/packet
So, for GDP the Rs80/packet will be counted
its foolish enough to calculate the the whole of it........
