The motion of an object can be described as,

  • We can say that the object is in its motion if it changes its place, speed, direction and acceleration.
  • An object is said to be in motion if it continuously changes its position with reference to another object and is observed by any person or device.
  • There are two types of motion. Uniform motion which means equal distance is covered in equal time intervals.
  • A non-uniform motion which means an equal distance is covered in equal intervals of time
