We need to divide no. of outcomes by total no. of outcomes.
Probability is denoted by P.
For example, The total number of marbles in a bag is 25 and there are 10 green marbles and 15 white marbles.
To find the probability of green marbles,
P (green marbles) = Number of green marbles / Total number of marbles = 10 / 25 = 0.4
To find the probability of white marbles,
P(white marbles) = Number of white marbles / Total number of marbles
= 15/25 = 0.6
Hope you got it!
