The simplified nutrients which are absorbed by blood after the process of absorption, enter the cells in your blood. The cell includes the oxygen which was taken in when we respired. The cell has a special cell organelle called mitochondria which takes the nutrients, oxygen and the water present and converts it into energy, enabling the cell to do functions and enabling us as well. For this the mitochondria is also called the power house of the cell.
