Answer:

when peacock came Peacock (Pavo cristatus)

which is a symbol of grace, joy, beauty and love is the national bird of India.

Peacock occupies a respectable position in Indian culture and is protected.

The Indian peacock is a colorful, swan-sized bird with a fan-shaped crest of feathers on its head, a white patch under the eye and a long-slender neck. The male peacock is more colorful than the female one.

Peacocks are male and thus donot lay eggs.

Female peafowl are called peahens and they do lay eggs called baby peacocks when hatched.

Peacock eggs are about three times the size of chicken eggs, and smaller than goose eggs, light tan or ivory in color.

The mother lays usually 4-6 eggs in a short period in spring.

For those non-Indians out there who are wondering why such a question has been asked: A high court judge has said that a peacock does not have sex and is celibate. The peahen has young ones by drinking the tears of the peacock. I agree that this is such a laughable answer by someone no less than a judge.

To the others who really wondered when they saw all this hulla bulla about this: you would have already browsed the internet or sought the wikipedia to know the actual facts. In any case, like any other bird, a peacock has sex with its female partner and the peahen lays eggs and hatch them to have young ones.
