We Know About The Agricultural Practices Which Existed During The Harappan Civilization Because:-

  • Archaeologists have found information of a ploughed field at signatures and terracotta sculpture reveals that the bull was recognized and oxen were used for ploughing where two varied crops were grown together.
  • Harappan people cultivated barley, wheat, rice, pulses, barley, peas, sesame, linseed, and mustard. They also formulated some modern tools known as plough which was used to dig earth for harvesting the seeds and swivelling the soil.
  • The preponderance of agriculture during the Harappan civilization is revealed by finds of grains in several sites of civilization.
