how do we know if one object is moving faster than another object

We can know if one object is moving faster than another by seeing them with our eyes. We could also calculate the speed, by physics formulas. For example, if one object covers 5 km's distance in an hour, and the other object covers 4 km's in an hour, we will know the first object was moving faster.

we use the concept of relative velocity
and then we can able to find out the another object or moving faster or not
