how do we know that a baby is boy or girl

Hello Friend

First you need to know the chromosomal pattern in the baby through amniocentesis.If it is XX then it is boy if it is XY then it is a girl.(It is because the chrosomal pattern in humans is XX for boy anf XY for girl.)
