We percieve an object to be in motion with reference to a stationary object

msanam: but what if the object is at vacuum and there is no object for comparison this means that. object is not at motion
DmanTheGenius: That means you cannot conclude that the object is in motion as there is no refernce point... Even in space the refernce point are planets....
msanam: so what about cosmic expansion. there is no stations object through which we compare the speed of expansion this means that it is not expanding.
