Dear ,

As we know that white light is the combination of many different frequencies of visible light from all parts of the visible spectrum. The only way we can see these frequencies as separate colors is to separate them into a rainbow.

We can preceive the white colour of an object only when object appears white and when it reflects all wavelengths and black when it absorbs them all.

Hii dear !!

We preceive only the reflected colour. Thus, red is not "in" an apple. the surface of the apple is reflecting the wavelength we see as
red and absorbing all the rest. an object appears white when it reflect all wavelengths and black when it absorb all them.
