◆Colours are seen associated with an object, if it reflects that colour when light falls on it.
◆Intensity of light is responded by the rod-shaped cells on the retina.
◆Cones in the retina are special cells which respondand distinguish various colours.
The cells generate the electrical nerve pulse. If the person has less of number of cone cells, then he will not be able to distinguish between the colours. This is called colour .

THis phenomenon is due to scattering of light so when try to see an object the collidal particles in the way scatter light smaller collidal particles scatter blue or violet while larger collidal particles scatter red or if the particles are still large then they scatter white light
