how do we see things that do not give out light

we can see them due to reflection .the light given by the luminous object falls on the non- luminous object and by falling light,the light gets reflected.thus,we are able to see things that do not give out light

we can see them due to reflection of light. But if light haven't bounced back we can see them because of the light coming from luminous body falling on non-luminous bodies and then gets reflected and reach our eyes
