We can smudge paints by following these ,

• First take a contrast or colours of same shade.
• Then , apply the lightest on in the canvas / paper .
• Slowly paint it or spread it evenly and horizontally .
• Then ( if it is a dark shade then apply white paint) Add the next colour
• spread and mix evenly and horizontally the bottom of the first or the lightest paint and the top of the next paint
• Your painting must be awsome
