How do we tell time? I never know how to do it. I will still be confused but try to explain it and see if I understand. If I don't, I will tell you.

In a basic Analog Clock, there are number 1 to 12 on it.
There are three hands (sometimes two).

The small hand is called the hour hand. It tells us what hour of the day it is. If it is before noon, it is in AM, after noon in PM.

The longest hand is called the minute hand. It tells us how many minutes have passed after the hour. If you want the time when the minute hand is at a number, multiply the number by 5.

Example: Hour hand is at 5 and Minute Hand is at 4.
When hour hand is at 5, it is sometime after Five'o'Clock.
4×5=20
Therefore, when Hour hand is at 5 and Minute Hand is at 4, the time is 5:20.
