Weeds lessen homestead and woods profitability, they attack crops, cover pastures and now and again can hurt domesticated animals. They forcefully seek water, supplements and daylight, bringing about lessened product yield and poor harvest quality. These are the reasons that the weeds affect the growth of crops

Answer:

Weeds are unwanted plants in the cultivated field. They compete with the crop plants for food, space and light. They take up the nutrients and reduce the growth of the  crop.
