How do you appreciate the fact that a huge elephant, man and trees are made of cells,which are very small and we can look at them through microscope?

We can see the cells of all living things under microscope..
Actually this was proved by Robert Hooke in 1665 when he observed the slices of cork under his crude microscope and observed that the cell was composed of box like compartments forming a honey comb like structure... He named it as cells..
Cells are the basic structural, functional and biological unit of life..
