How do you appreciate the fact that animals,man and trees are made of cells,which are very small and we can look at them through microscope.

because cell is the basic structural and
functional unit of life as discribed by robert hooke by his experiment.in 1665 under his crude microscope obsrving the bark of a tree...and concluded the cell is the functional unit of life.
