How do you arrange fractions in descending order
Answers
Answer:
Make the denominator of the fractions same by doing LCM of them. By the number you multiply the denominator to get the same denominator, multiply it with the numerator also. Then, arrange the fractions in descending order. And at last, put the numbers in their actual form. Hope it was helpful.
Hello! Here is your answer :-)
First of all you need to make the denominators same by finding the LCM...
Then you have to compare, like you know decending order means from bigger to smaller
Let me give u an example
For example we have to arrange these fractions
6/4,5/3,4/2
Then,
LCM would be 12
Now,
4/2*6/6
=24/12
5/3*4/4
=20/12
6/4*3/3
=18/12
Now it's compare it
24/12,20/12,18/20
= 4/2,5/3,6/4
Hope you get it
So that's the decending order
