A velocity vs time graph shows the velocity change with respect to time.
Acceleration is defined exactly as the rate of change of velocity with respect to time.
a=dv/dt
Basically what I’m trying to say here is: divide the change in velocity by the change of time and you’ll get the slope of something (a something that is a line if the motion is uniformly accelerated), which is defined as the acceleration.
