The slope intercept form.

y=mx+b for some concent value m

(for slope) and b the y - intercept.

4x+3y-8=0

is equavalent to

3y = -4x + 8

by dividing both sides by 3 we get

y = -4/3 x + 8/3

so the slope is ( -4/3 ) and the y-

intercept is at (0 ,8/3).

this is your answer.

hope it will help you. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
