how do you convert fractions to decimals?
3anantsingh:
to convert fraction into decimal, the denominator is converted into the right of the decimal and the numerator gets converted into the right side of the fraction
Step 2: Multiply both top and bottom by 10 for every number after the decimal point. (For example, if there are two numbers after the decimal point, then use 100, if there are three then use 1000, etc.)
Step 3: Simplify (or reduce) the fraction

THE SIMPLEST 1 IS TO USE A CALCULATOR BUT DUE TO SOME TIME WE CAN'T.
SO THE OTHER IS :-
1) FIND A NO U CAN MULTIPLY BY THE BOTTOM OF THE FRACTION TO MAKE IT 10, 100,......
2) MULTIPLY BOTH BOTTOM AND TOP OF THAT FRACTION WITH THAT NO.
3) THEN WRITE DOWN JUST THE TOP NO. , PUTTING THE DECIMAL POINT IN HE CORRECT SPOT.
HOPE THIS HELPS U !!!!!!!!!!11
