He is too prideful. He thinks that he deserves what he deserves thinking that he is a true seed of honor. He is quit selfish too when he read the lead casket which tells "who choose me must hazard all he hath" and he was like what why must I hazard anything. He does not like common spirits and never jump with them and also describes them as fool and barbarous multitude when he read gold casket.
