Hello friend...
Percent solution is the solution expressed in the unit %. It may be (a) percentage by weight-w/v, (b) percentage by volume-v/v, and (c) molar concentration.
Some basic terms about solution:
Solute is a chemical substance which is dissolved in a solution. It can be a solid or liquid
Solvent is a liquid which dissolves the solute. Its total amount is greater than a solute.
Moles- molar mass of a substance is equal to 1 mole and it contains Avogadro's number of atoms.
Hope this helps you...

Concentration of solution is defined as the amount of solute dissolved in a specific (fixed) amount of solvent. UNITS OF CONCENTRATION. Molarity. Molality. Normality.
Once you've found the moles of solute, you can simply divide by the volume of solution in the flask to find the molarity of the solution, or convert moles to grams and divide by the volume of the solution to find the concentration in g/L. This will require a basic understanding of Stoichiometry.
