how do you differentiate the anobolic and catobolic processes in the metabolism of taking into consideration of photosynthesised respiration​

hey...

here is ur answer.....

Basically respiration is catabolic process because glucose is converted into carbon dioxide, water and energy is released. But some of intermediates of respiration are used in the synthesis of other organic compounds. e.g

1. Oxaloacetic acid — alkaloids and pyrimidines

2. Acetyl CoA — carotenoids, terpenes, gibberellins, fatty acids etc.

3. Succinyl CoA — chlorophyll, cytochrome

4. Alpha ketoglutaric acid — amino acids .

All these are anabolic processes, So we can say respiration is amphibolic process.
