Answer:

By sucking the air in the straw.

Explanation:

When you suck on a straw in a drink, you create a little space of low pressure inside your mouth and in the top of the straw. Then the air outside of the straw pushes down on the surface of the drink and forces the liquid up through the straw and into your mouth.

Q. how do you drink cold drink from a straw ? why does the drink move up the straw against Gravity?

Ans :- we can drink cold drink from a straw because we creates suction pressure and the area under the straw became vacuum this will creates an empty face where the atmospheric is zero and the atmospheric outside is greater so, it exert a suction pressure and the water molecules moves from a region of higher concentration to lower concentration and maintain the space between the straw so the pressure exerted by water at the surface of straw will be equal to atmospheric pressure of surrounding.

The drink moves against the gravity because a suction pressure is created during drinking and it provides enough force so that water can move upward against the gravity.
