The word ' natural vegetation ' can be applied to natural and semi-natural types of vegetation. The plants required air, sunlight, water and nutrients from the soil to grow. The availability of these factors may vary from place to place. So, various kind of natural vegetation is found on the surface of the earth. The principal plant formation are the forests, grasses and shrubs etc. In warm and humid climate forests grow well. In the region of moderate rainfall grassland are found. In dry areas, we find shrubs growing. In extreme cold climate region there is no vegetation expect lichens, commonly the growth of plant becomes very slow in temperature of about 6°C.
