The Bond strength in any compound is directly proportional to its bond.
This can be understood with the help of a simple analogy :-
Suppose there are two friends. And they have a very strong bonding between them. Then it is not easy to break their friendship. But in case, if the bonding is loose, then the friendship bond can be easily broken. As we have already observed in our daily life.
Likewise, if a compound contains single bond, then it can be easily broken as compared to the compound contains double bond. In turn, the compound contains double bond can be easily broken as compared to the triple bond.
REASON:- we have already studies that sigma bond is stronger than pi bond.
Single bond contains only sigma bond but double bond contains pi bond on addition to the sigma bond. So, overall it is difficult to break double as compared to the single bond. And so on.
Hence, we can say that BOND STRENGTH CAN BE EASILY DETERMINED BY THE BOND ORDER.
