2x3-18x-x2+9

2x(x2-9) -1(x2-9)

(x2-9) (2x-1)

(x+3) (x-3) (2x-1)

p(x)=2x^3-x^2-18x+9

By hit and trial method we will find the zero of the given polYnomial p(x)

let x=3

p(3)=2(3)^3-(3)^2-18(3)+9

p(3)=54-9-54+9

p(3)=0

So x-3 is the factor of given polynomial .

now divide the given polynomial by x-3

After this the process in the attached photo .

Hope it will help u.
