The role of the Guru in the ancient times was to lead the seeker follower towards soul-realization. Whereas, the present society is far away from the concept of soul-realization and moving more towards the progressive environment. But once a person reaches the limit of this dynamism then he has to trans-form to orient self towards the latent nature. Therefore, it can be understood that the present society is at the turning point active orientation to latent orientation. The role of Ancient guru still remains same the present day society will slowly turn towards them.
