when we consider ancient guru:
lots of advantageous like
Than of studies we still can gain lots of knowledge based on normal behaviour and the way to survive in our society
further gives us lots of confidence
obedience based on our teacher
nowadays are totally diff because we are acting so close to our teacher as if they are friend even that one is so profitable in one way

we feel very happy as our gurus (teacher) are teaching us in a modern way
Earlier i think the sophisticated devices were not available for teaching
But earlier teachers use to give moral education to students
