How do you feel that role of ancient guru has changed in present society? Which qualities of ancient Guru you would like to adopt as a teacher? why?

The ancient guru role was quite different one from the today's guru(teacher).
The ancient guru was used to be a role model for their student . They not only taught students the regular knowledge or information of subject but also concentrated on the value education and moral education. They was the one who taught their students how to live and survive in a society . They also develop a good personality capable of serving the society in them. 

While on the other ,Now a day, teachers are only seems to interested in their respective subject , they just give the knowledge and information but don't take interest in personality development of society.Presently the concentration is not given to value education mostly.

Being  a teacher, i would like to adapt the capability of teaching the value education to my student as it is also the basic responsibility of the teachers . Also,   i would like to adapt  the method of teaching through practicals .
