how do you feel that role of ancient guru has changed in present society?

in ancient days ...if guru bit to students and students complain to parents then parent will hit a slap and will ask to child .what was there..? In today's time if children does complain of bitting then without asking anything parent will definitely support children ......in ancient time guru do not educate for salary , instead of that student need to work for gurukul........Lord Krishna and his friend Sudama studied at one gurukul though Krishna was from a kings culture and Sudama was from poor........However we should trust our guru like Chandragupta Maurya
