How do you feel that the role of ancient Guru has changed in present society?

in earlier times the Guru taught the student under a banyan tree any other tree or in their houses or in the corner of a village. the syllabus was not fixed for the students and was not according to their ages. they taught the topic or things that they believe that student should know . fees dependent on the income of parents which means that rich parents would give more money and poor parents would give less money

but in present time there are schools and the syllabus is fixed and is according to the classes. it is not held in open. nowadays is fish for all whether the students parents are rich or poor .monthly or annually exams are also taken
