It means that you can’t be good without being evil you can you be evil without being good.

This is quite counterintuitive and goes against the common wisdom which most people believe.

People believe that good and evil are two separate things in life and it is possible for a person to be a purely good or purely evil. They are influenced by the virtues of their heroes as they see them in movies and fictions and strive to become like them.

You fail to become like these ideal hypothetical creatures, because the more good you try to become, the more evil you tend to generate in you. The path of goodness always passes through evil.

Why People Can’t Agree With Me?

People follow double standards while finding good and evil in different person.

They remember all their own good deeds and forget their evil deeds; while they remember the evil deeds of other people and conveniently forget their goodness.

The result is that most people judge themselves to be good while judging other people as evil.

Then they believe that they are victimised by the evil people of the world because they are good.

I only wish that they could see their own evilness and other people’s goodness to have a balanced view of life and develop better understanding of themselves and others.

I searched for the evil in others, met not a single one

When searched it in myself, I found the worst evil one.”
