Distilled water is neutral it can be verified if we take to Litmus Paper it will it change into red or blue. Based from the above activity we can say that distilled water is neither acidic nor basic. It is neutral.

Distilled water is neutral in nature. This is because it contains no ions and as we know that flow of current takes place by ions only. So it doesn't conduct electricity.

And It can be observed on putting distilled water on Litmus paper. When it put on litmus it will show now change in color of litmus and hence we can conclude that it is neither acidic nor basic
